Apprentice (KLabs) : Research Engineer

Project Scope
Develop a lightweight Document Key Information Extraction workflow to extract structured information from document images using Computer Vision and Generative AI techniques.

What Will Set You Up for Success:

• 3rd–4th year undergraduate student in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields

• Internship Duration: 1 year 

• Strong understanding of Machine Learning and basic Computer Vision concepts

• Proficient in Python

• Experience or coursework involving CNN models

• Familiarity with Generative AI (LLMs, Diffusion Models, or other generative techniques)

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Experience with OCR or document-processing projects is a plus
