How You’ll Make an Impact
- Design and implement robust data pipelines to collect, transform, and store data in both structured (e.g., relational databases) and unstructured (e.g., NoSQL, data lakes) storage systems.
- Develop and maintain data APIs in both batch and real-time (online) formats to serve data to legacy and modern systems, enabling seamless data access across the organization.
- Design and execute efficient strategies for migrating large-scale data workloads from on-premise Cloudera (Hadoop) environments to Azure Databricks, ensuring data integrity, performance, and minimal downtime.
- Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot data platforms including Hadoop (Cloudera) and Azure Databricks, ensuring high availability, reliability, and performance across data infrastructure.
- Ensure best practices in data engineering, including version control, automation, performance optimization, and data quality monitoring.
What Will Set You Up for Success:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science / Computer Engineer or related field
- Minimum 2 years in data engineer (Hadoop - Big Data)
- Familiarity with SQL , Hadoop , PySpark , Shell scripts , Databrick , Cloudera
