How You’ll Make an Impact:

• Provide security advisory support to project teams and stakeholders to ensure security requirements are considered throughout the project lifecycle
• Conduct IT risk assessments for applications, systems, infrastructure, and technology initiatives
• Identify, assess, and communicate cybersecurity risks, including business impact and recommended mitigation actions
• Perform and coordinate vulnerability assessments and support remediation tracking with relevant teams
• Review system architecture, technical designs, and project plans to identify potential security gaps and control weaknesses
• Advise stakeholders on security best practices, risk treatment options, and compliance with internal security policies and standards
• Support the development and implementation of security controls to reduce technology and cyber risks
• Collaborate with infrastructure, development, product, and project teams to ensure timely closure of security findings
• Prepare clear and concise risk assessment reports, security recommendations, and management updates
• Track project progress, security action plans, and remediation timelines to ensure deliverables are completed on time
• Facilitate meetings with stakeholders to align on security issues, project risks, priorities, and next steps
• Support audit, compliance, and governance activities related to cybersecurity and IT risk
• Stay up to date with emerging cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and industry best practices

What Will Set You Up for Success:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field
• Proven experience in cybersecurity, IT security advisory, IT risk assessment, or information security
• Strong understanding of vulnerability assessment, risk identification, risk analysis, and remediation management
• Knowledge of cybersecurity principles, security controls, and common technology risks across applications, infrastructure, and cloud environments
• Experience working with project teams and managing security-related activities in a structured and organized manner
• Good understanding of security frameworks, standards, or practices such as ISO 27001, NIST, CIS, or equivalent
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills
• Ability to translate technical security risks into business-friendly recommendations
• Strong project management and coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
• Relevant certifications such as CISA, CISM, CRISC, CISSP, Security+, or similar are a plus
