How You’ll Make an Impact - Key Responsibilities: Emphasis on both process improvement and new ways of working
Current process improvement:
- Assess current Finance, Accounting, and Vendor Management processes, identifying pain points and opportunities for improvement
- Identify manual, repetitive finance tasks (e.g., reconciliations, invoicing, expense claims) and deploy automation (RPA, workflow tools)
- Standardize reporting packages and KPIs across business units
- Simplify system landscape, reduce reliance on Excel, implement ERP enhancements (GL, AR/AP, budget control modules)
- Align budget and forecast cycles more closely with business operations, shorten closing timeline
- Streamline cost allocation, enhance transparency in OPEX/CAPEX spending
New way of work:
- Shift from backward-looking financial reports to predictive analytics, scenario planning, and real-time dashboards for management
- Drive adoption of self-service analytics, AI-driven forecasting, and cloud-based collaboration tools
- Position finance as a co-pilot to the business, embedding finance talent within business units to shape strategy and investment decisions
- Build future skills (data literacy, digital tools, storytelling with numbers) so Finance can evolve from “scorekeeper” to “value creator.”
- Introduce value-based management (ROI of projects, cost-to-serve metrics, and profitability by project/product/service line)
What Will Set You Up for Success:
- Master’s degree in Finance or Business Administration
- Minimum of 8 - 10 years’ experience in Finance, including 2+ years in transformation or strategic roles
- Proven track record in project and change management within international, complex organizations
- Deep understanding of financial processes and operating models
- Strong knowledge of digital finance tools and innovation (e.g., RPA, AI, analytics)
- Experience with methodologies such as Lean or other structured project-management frameworks
- Ability to do multiple task or manage multiple project
- Knowledge in SAP, ERP, and related Finance & Accounting program
Technical Proficiency
- Expertise in tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, and data-analytics platforms
- In-depth knowledge of financial domains (FP&A, AP/AR, Accounting)
- Familiarity with digitalization technologies and their implementation within Finance
