Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our software testing department as a Test Operation Management Engineer. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the overall strategy of the Software Quality Management department, managing resources efficiently, and gathering crucial information to streamline our Test Management operations. You will play a pivotal role in the development of a small application designed to collect test project information, track vendor usage, and generate comprehensive department portfolios.

Job Responsibilities

• Departmental Strategy:

  • Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement departmental strategies aligned with company goals.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Contribute innovative ideas to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of our testing processes.

• Information Gathering:

  • Develop and maintain systems for gathering and organizing test project information.
  • Ensure accurate and up-to-date documentation of project requirements, timelines, and resources.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to gather relevant data and insights for informed decision-making.

• Resource Management:

  • Assist in resource allocation and scheduling to optimize team productivity.
  • Track and manage departmental resources, including personnel, tools, and equipment.
  • Identify areas for resource optimization and implement strategies to maximize efficiency.

• Application Development:

  • Lead the development of a small application to streamline information gathering and management processes within the department.
  • Conduct testing and validation to ensure the application meets quality standards and fulfills departmental requirements.

• Portfolio Generation:

  • Contribute to the generation of the departmental portfolio by compiling and analyzing project data.
  • Prepare reports and presentations to communicate departmental achievements, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Assist in the development of strategic plans and recommendations based on portfolio insights.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Prior experience in software testing, project management, or operations management is an advantage.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to gather, analyze, and interpret data effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
• Proficiency in project management tools and software development methodologies.
• Knowledge of database management systems and application development is a plus.
