About Project
KX - Vailor Capital is AI/ML, deep-tech focused $100m Venture Capital arm of Thailand’s largest commercial Bank’s new-S curve business venture builder factory (“KX”).
We’re looking to invest, partner, and support global team and project and help them expand to our stronghold in Southeast Asian market.
How You’ll Make an Impact: (Responsibility)
Provide strategic guidance and mentorship to team leaders, set long-term venture capital strategy, manage overall budgets, and ensure strategic priorities are cascaded through senior management as well as oversee and contribute in coaching, recruiting, performance development processes, and monitoring team performance.
Investment Strategy and Execution
- Lead Develop and implement investment strategies aligned with Vailor Capital’s objectives and the group strategic goals.
- Identify and evaluate potential investment opportunities in startups, focusing on those with strong growth potential and strategic relevance and evaluate opportunities in Deep-tech AI/ML globally.
- Conduct thorough due diligence on investment targets, including market analysis, financial modeling, and business plan evaluation.
- Negotiate and structure investment deals, ensuring favorable terms for KX, KBTG, and the group
- Monitor portfolio performance and provide guidance to portfolio companies to maximize their growth and value.
- Identify potential synergy between Tech Start-ups and KX, KBTG, and the group and/or its stakeholders, extension to future LPs, corporates, and organization and key stakeholders.
- With best effort and willing to go extra-mile, support and contribute to idea generation for the growth and scaling
What Will Set You Up for Success: (Qualification)
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 10 years related work experience e.g., investment banking, consulting, VC/PE, business development, entrepreneurship, Technology Tech Start-up, etc.
- Investment, Venture Capital, AI/ML, Deep-tech, Digital Finance, AI Autumation knowledge
- Experienced leading, supervising, and motivating a team of investment professionals.
- Provide strategic guidance and mentorship to team leaders by leveraging sector/industry knowledge and experience to identify potential pitfalls and help make critical business decisions
- Set long-term strategy, direction, and objective of Vailor Capital area aligning with the organization's business goals and objectives
- Manage budget effectively as well as optimize resource allocation
- Provide leadership to team members and oversee coaching, recruiting, selection, performance development, and mentoring processes
- Develop and refine the company's investment strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals and market dynamics
- Good command in English with strong written and verbal communication skills
