How You’ll Make an Impact: (Responsibility)

Investment Strategy and Execution

• Lead Develop and implement investment strategies aligned with KXVC’s objectives and the group strategic goals. 
• Identify and evaluate potential investment opportunities in startups, focusing on those with strong growth potential and strategic relevance and evaluate opportunities in Deep-tech AI/ML, blockchain, web3.0 globally. 
• Conduct thorough due diligence on investment targets, including market analysis, financial modeling, and business plan evaluation. 
• Negotiate and structure investment deals, ensuring favorable terms for KX, KBTG, and the group 
• Monitor portfolio performance and provide guidance to portfolio companies to maximize their growth and value. 
• Identify potential synergy between Tech Start-ups and KX, KBTG, and the group and/or its stakeholders, extension to future LPs, corporates, and organization and key stakeholders. 
• With best effort and willing to go extra-mile, support and contribute to idea generation for the growth and scaling

Description

Strategic Partnership and Collaboration

• Build and maintain strong relationships with startups, investors, and other stakeholders in the ecosystem.
• Facilitate collaborations between KXVC, and startups to leverage their respective strengths.
• Represent KXVC at industry events and conferences to promote its activities and build its brand.
• Interact with external and internal parties to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements

Innovation and Market Analysis

• Stay abreast of emerging technologies and trends in the financial sector and related industries.
• Conduct market research and analysis to identify new investment opportunities and potential partnerships.
• Provide insights and recommendations to the KXVC management on innovation and technology trends.
• Build and maintain good relationships across the network in AI/ML, Deep-tech blockchain, web3.0 ecosystem globally.

Team Leadership and Management

• Lead and manage a team of investment professionals, providing guidance and support to achieve their goals.
• Hands-on leadership for all aspects of investment project from research, sourcing, DD, investment governance and closing portfolio monitoring.
• Foster a culture of innovation and collaboration within the team

What Will Set You Up for Success: (Qualification)

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years related work experience e.g., investment banking, consulting, VC/PE, business development, entrepreneurship, Technology Tech Start-up, etc.
• Investment, Venture Capital, AI/ML, Deep-tech knowledge
• Experienced leading, supervising, and motivating a team of investment professionals.
• Have passion and knowledge in VC, Fintech, AI/ML, Blockchain, Web 3.0 and Start-up Landscapes
• Excellent research, modeling, analytical and presentation skill
• Strong accountability and ownership mindset 
• Strong organizational skills and can-do attitude
• Proactive, self-driven, detail-oriented, multi-tasking, can work with rush and limited timeline environment
• Good command in English with strong written and verbal communication skills
